Millennium Park in Chicago

In the year 1997 the blueprint of the Millennium Park was primarily made in order to create new parkland in the Grant Park. Ultimately, the Millennium Park project evolved as one of the most revolutionary projects in the whole world. Situated in Chicago on Michigan Avenue between Randolph and Monroe Streets, the 24.5-acre park is a novel example of exhibiting different forms of art, architecture and designed landscape. One of the most exclusive features of the Millennium Park is the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. This is perhaps the most outstanding outdoor concert platform in the whole of the United States.   • Jay Pritzker Pavilion: This is a 120 feet high pavilion with an accommodation for almost 11,000 people. The open air "acoustical canopy" has made the Jay Pritzker Pavilion one of the most superior outdoor concert venues in the whole world.
  • BP Bridge : The BP Bridge, connects the Millennium Park with the eastern part of the Grant Park and provides unparallel views of the city’s skyline, Grant Park and Lake Michigan.
  • Chase Promenade : The Chase Promenade is a bit on the outskirts from the park and in this large area, throughout the whole year several cultural programs, including fairs, festivals, exhibitions and family events. In very simple words this part of the park can be described as one of the world’s largest activities park.
